Website access and server logs
This website is delivered through a hosting provider. The provider may process technical access data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, referrer, and error information to deliver the site, maintain security, troubleshoot availability, and investigate abuse. These server logs are not used to inspect local MCP Boundary installations, local tool lists, policy files, activity logs, or downstream results.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, your message, email address, metadata, and any information you include are processed to respond to the request. Do not send secrets, private repository contents, tokens, payloads, diffs, private keys, or .env files.
Downloads and feedback
MCP Boundary release download links may be counted as aggregate website events so we can see whether release artifacts are used. Feedback sent by email is processed so we can improve the product and respond where appropriate.
MCP Boundary itself is local-first. The local tool does not send your MCP server configuration, discovered tools, policy files, activity logs, downstream results, tokens, repository contents, email contents, database records, or local project data back to Impact Boundary Labs.
Website analytics
This public website uses Plausible Analytics on the deployed site for simple reach measurement and improvement of the website. The privacy and imprint pages are excluded from analytics.
This website does not use marketing cookies. No individual user profiles, account IDs, email addresses, cross-site tracking data, GitHub tokens, Runner keys, PEM files, payloads, repository contents, or private demo data are sent by this website analytics setup.
Analytics only concerns the public website. It does not apply to local MCP Boundary installations run by users.
This public website also does not provide user accounts, payment processing, or newsletter signup at this stage.
External links
The website may link to external services such as GitHub. If you follow those links, the external provider is responsible for its own processing.
Technical preview context
MCP Boundary is a local developer/operator tool for controlled evaluation of MCP tool boundaries. It does not prove semantic correctness, and it does not replace operator judgment, downstream permissions, review workflows, or the product limitations described on this site. This privacy notice describes the public website, not a local MCP Boundary installation run by a user.
